Request a higher floor to minimize street noise, especially if you're a light sleeper. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming.

comfortable stay with some minor issues
The hotel felt comfortable with a tidy atmosphere. The staff were particularly friendly and accommodating at the front desk. I appreciated the ability to check out late, as it really helped with my travel plans. The city view from my room was stunning and truly added to the experience.
However, the bathroom drainage needed attention.

I had a great time at Grand Plaza Hotel, Gulf, but there were some bumps along the way. The deluxe room felt spacious with a comfortable king-size bed, and I really appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The location offered easy access to explore nearby areas. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast. The spread had a mix of local and international options, which I found satisfying. However, a heavy piece of wood fell from the wall and hit my friend, and I didn’t receive any help when I mentioned it to the reception team. The taxi service was overpriced, and there were communication issues with the drivers. Also, my laptop bag went missing for part of the evening, which added stress to our stay. Despite these problems, the room itself was well-appointed and clean, and the breakfast staff certainly made the mornings enjoyable.

Impressive Cleanliness and Friendly Staff
I was really impressed by the cleanliness throughout my stay. everything was spotless, including my room which had modern furnishings. The attentiveness of the staff, especially Mr Faisal at reception, made me feel welcomed and valued. However, the TV remote was a bit of a hassle, as it didn’t work properly during my stay.
